A date with a goddess.

        Aphrodite came with a courtesy visit to the palace of Zeus. When she was looking for the master of the house, she run across Athena, who was walking slowly, dragging her left foot.

“Hello my dear. Why are you walking so strangely?”

“Midas showed me his interest again”, saying that Athena turned back, showing Aphrodite her buttock turned into gold.

“You should be proud of this buttock as a war trophy.”

“Why is that?”

“As the proof that some guy finally leched after you.”

“You know that men aren’t important for me. I'm too smart for that.”

“Sure, keep on believing that.  I hope you wouldn’t just end like Narcissus, only glorifying yourself.”

“At least it is safe. I won’t betray myself.”

“The post of the virgin goddess is already occupied. Better look around for a nice guy and I'll help you get him... Let's look through the list of candidates. Of course the first name coming to my mind is Heracles...”

“Thick-headed gorilla.”

“But what an abs he has, and additionally hardworking bloke...”

“I do not want the hardworking, only an intelligent one.”

“Well, so maybe Theseus. See how he conned everyone. He killed the Minotaur, escaped the labyrinth. Nobody did it before him.”

“Yes, he left because he used the help of Ariadne in love which he abandoned later. Classic!”

“You are fussy... Sisyphus?”

“Workaholic.”

“Prometheus?”

"His relationship with the vulture is unhealthy.”

“Pygmalion?”

“He fell in love with a sculpture, which doesn’t put him in a good light.”

“So, maybe I make you the date with Charon?”

“No, because he is only focused on cash.”

“Well… Jason?”

“He has too intimate relationship with his Argonauts.”

“For God’s sake, it's hard to please you! Is there at least one guy you like?!”

“I liked Paris, but you decided to give him the love of the most beautiful woman, so I have nothing to start with.”
