ORDINARY EXTRAORDINARY - story 11th

view of the Cloth Hall (Polish name - Sukiennice).

(Eva' story)

I would like to describe an event in my life.

In mid-December 1980 (I was 31 at that time) I was returning by a train from Krakow to Warsaw. In a compartment an elderly man was siting opposite. After some time he started a conversation. It turned out it was a dowser and he talked really interestingly about radiesthesia, of which I had known little. Then he showed me various publications on this subject. A certain moment he asked me that I had a banknote with a view of the Cloth Hall (in Krakow). I was surprised as I’d never heard about such a banknote before. Then the gentleman gave me, for memory, a Polish banknote from 1941, which in fact, had a view of the Cloth Hall.

A month later, in January 1981, I took out a white envelope from my mailbox with my name, surname and my proper address were handwritten. In the middle of the envelope there was a printed invitation (and my name and surname was handwritten) for the meeting of the society of dowsers which was planned in the Palace of Culture (Polish name – Pałac Kultury, in Warsaw), at the end of January. Being naturally curios I desired to go there but the meeting was late and I didn’t decide to go. However, it surprised me who could have sent the invitation. I called everyone who was in my phonebook but it was no one of them.

I wondered if it was related to that meeting on the train? But me and the gentleman didn’t introduce ourselves, no name, no surname, and no address. After leaving the train at a railway station in Warsaw, we said "goodbye" and each from us went in a different direction.

I wonder how to understand this mysterious phenomenon. Maybe you could have any idea?

Best wishes,

Ewa, aged 69.
